Our first Vancouver Stillbirth & Neonatal Death Meetup!

MeetupStarting this year, Still Life Canada is taking a different approach to its priorities for 2016. After hosting the successful Bereaved Parent Forum last month, SLC will continue to explore events of this nature. While SLC will no longer organize the annual BBQ or walk, instead the focus will be on hosting, facilitating and providing an avenue of support through monthly Meetups. We would like to explore healthy grieving practices on a regular basis and start the creation of a support network with opportunities for dialogue for those who have experienced a stillbirth or neonatal death. Still Life Canada is initially facilitating Meetups in Vancouver, every 2nd Wednesday of the month in a room at a branch of the Vancouver Public Library.
At the Meetups we welcome everyone, including parents, extended family members, friends and healthcare professional who have been affected by stillbirth or neonatal death and wish to share their story or simply listen to others sharing their stories.
